We are Jon, Mindy, Chani, and Oliver–a family of four trying to live affordably in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently we live in a 1973 Airstream Sovereign travel trailer in South San Francisco although space is becoming a bit of an issue now that our new addition (Oliver) is here!

We love vintage aluminum travel trailers–that is how this blog got the name Aluminated Life! We hope to one day start a vintage travel trailer retreat like El Cosmico in Marfa, Texas, which is a dream that we have had since long before we realized that such a place existed.
